About me

My Journey

I fell in love with stories early on, but reading did not always come easily. For a long time, it was something I struggled through rather than enjoyed. After years of frustration, one on one help, and more than a few tears, I finally found a story that changed everything.

Books went from being a source of anxiety to a source of peace, and I have been returning to that feeling ever since.

My Vision

I believe reading can be both personal and communal. Quiet, but shared.

As we get older, it becomes harder to find spaces where we feel we belong, especially ones that do not ask us to perform or keep up. The Literary Meg exists as a place for readers who want to slow down, notice more, and feel less alone in their reading lives.

A space to linger.
A place to return to.

A Little More About Me

I am not a professor or a literary critic. I am a lifelong reader who knows what it is like to struggle with books early on and to search for meaningful community later in life.

These days, reading is both my grounding ritual and my favorite way to connect with others. I love helping reading feel lighter, more intentional, and less overwhelming, not by doing more, but by noticing more.

If you are someone who reads for comfort, curiosity, or companionship, you are in the right place.

A little extra

I'm a dog mom

Im obsessed with my pups, Maisy and Ollie! They are both mini Aussies and are full of energy, mischievousness, and love. Their fur is EVERYWHERE at all times, but who doesn't like a little dog glitter?

I love to travel

Sometimes the budget says "no", but my heart always says "yes". I unfortunately have to listen to the budget, but when I do travel I do it right, in my humble opinion! My favorite places have been Scotland and France. I hope to go to New Zealand and Iceland in the next couple years

Let's connect!
