I fell in love with stories at a young age, but reading didn't come easy at first. I struggled to keep up with my peers and find joy in written words. Then one day, after years of struggles, 1 on 1 help, and tears... I found a story that opened up my world and I was never the same. Books went from being a source of anxiety to a source of peace.
I want to share my joy of reading and find others who share that love. Community is so important, but as you get older it gets harder and harder to make friends and find spaces you feel you belong to. I hope The Literary Meg becomes a space for fellow readers searching for their people.
I’m not a professor or literary critic— I’m just a lifelong book lover who knows what it’s like to struggle through reading as a kid and finding community as an adult.
These days, I run two bookish social media accounts, create content for fellow readers and writers, and use my digital marketing certification to actually get that content seen. I know how to make a TBR less overwhelming, how to connect with readers online, and how to make reading feel like a joy, not a chore.
Basically? I’m your go-to girl for real talk about books, building a cozy online presence, and staying intentional along the way.
Im obsessed with my pups, Maisy and Ollie! They are both mini Aussies and are full of energy, mischievousness, and love. Their fur is EVERYWHERE at all times, but who doesn't like a little dog glitter?
Sometimes the budget says "no", but my heart always says "yes". I unfortunately have to listen to the budget, but when I do travel I do it right, in my humble opinion! My favorite places have been Scotland and France. I hope to go to New Zealand and Iceland in the next couple years
